Watford’s late equalizer at Newcastle last Saturday looked like a highlight of their season and it could be built on a meaningful win over Norwich.
The Hornets were busy making additions in January and three of them – left-back Hassane Kamara, central midfielder Edo Kayembe and centre-back Samir – played at a high level in the 1-0 draw. 1 at St. James’ Park.
Watford look more solid at the back and they pose a threat thanks to their powerful forward trio of Emmanuel Dennis, Joshua King and Joao Pedro.
Norwich have looked better since Dean Smith decided to pair Adam Idah with Teemu Pukki in the front two, but they have scored just ten goals in 21 league appearances this season and could be left behind.

Claudio Ranieri raised some eyebrows as he replaced top scorer Emmanuel Dennis as Watford lost to Newcastle, but the Italian was simply showing his faith in 20-year-old Joao Pedro who is starting to realize his considerable potential.
Pedro has scored in each of Watford’s last two matches and looks like a strong candidate to face the Canaries.

Both teams are likely to be more interested in pushing for the win than protecting a point and there should be room for plenty of goals.
Watford won 3-1 at Carrow Road in September – recording a fifth successive victory against the Norfolk side – and they could have the advantage in another high-scoring game.
