Manchester City are close to retaining the Premier League title with a 5-1 win over Wolves in midweek and face the tougher test of their remaining two games when they visit West Ham.
Lost somewhat in their offensive performance in recent games, the real injury crisis has gripped the Citizens defense line.
Ruben Dias, John Stones and Aymeric Laporte are all major doubts for this fixture and Fernandinho, who replaced the centre-back against Wolves, limped off in this clash.
That leaves Nathan Ake as their only recognized centre-back and the Dutchman’s main weakness is in the air.
At less than six feet tall, the former Bournemouth man is sure to be targeted by West Ham and as a result he’s pictured for a card if he gets frustrated with any of the physical battles the Hammers will put him through.
Ake was booked four times in ten games last season and while he is yet to receive a card this season, this high-pressure environment could be the moment. At 6-1, he’s making a lot of calls.
Michail Antonio is a fitness doubt for the game after picking up a knock against Norwich but if he starts a bit of interest he is recommended to have a headshot on target.
The West Ham striker is known for his physicality and aerial ability and, as mentioned, City will be lacking in that department in this fixture. The 9-1 on Antonio registering a header shot on target seems generous.
At the start of kick-off, Tottenham are in a strong bid to get the better of Burnley, but at the cost the usual suspects Harry Kane and Heung-min Son may be left alone in the goalscoring market at any time.
Dejan Kulusevski has scored three goals since joining in January and his side are set to create plenty of chances against an injured Burnley defense and he would need to be 21-10 to get on the scoresheet.
There may not be much riding when Norwich visit Wolves, but Bruno Lage’s side will want to put the beating at the hands of Manchester City behind them with a good win against the already relegated Canaries.
Pedro Neto is slowly being reinstated into the Wolves squad after a long-term injury but showed flashes against the Citizens that he was back to his best and was meant to find the net.
The Portuguese striker scored five times last year for Wolves and, at 15-8, looks worthy of backing to open his account for the season.
