Match preview

Huddersfield have not tasted defeat in a league game since November and can extend their unbeaten streak to 18 with a draw against promotion rivals Millwall at The Den.

The Terriers briefly slipped into second place after Friday’s televised 2-2 draw at West Brom, but ended the weekend two points behind Bournemouth, who played three games less.

Catching the cherries isn’t out of the question, but Huddersfield’s top priority will be fighting serious competition for the playoff spots, which means their aim could be to avoid defeat in south London.

Millwall are nine points behind Huddersfield after playing one less game, but they haven’t lost a home game since January and have taken 17 points from their last seven games.

However, Lions boss Gary Rowett has struggled with a growing list of injuries and his patched-up side may have to settle for a third draw in a row.
