Match Preview

The Miami Dolphins are just one of two remaining undefeated teams in the NFL, and they’ll be looking to keep it that way when they travel to Ohio to take on the Cincinnati Bengals.

Things haven’t been easy for the Dolphins en route to a 3-0 record. Two weeks ago they staged a huge comeback against the Baltimore Ravens, trailing 21 points early in the fourth quarter to win 42-38, before beating Super Bowl favorites Buffalo 21-19 last week, despite the Bills having racked up nearly 300 more yards. total offense.

Some would say Miami got lucky, but good teams find a way to win and head coach Mike McDaniel seems to have found that magic formula.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has improved markedly, and his relationships with top receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle have made him one of the most dangerous forces in the league. Tagovailoa and Waddle have questionable labels on the injury report but should get dressed.

As for the Bengals, the Super Bowl finalists have had a shaky start to the season. They fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1 before being taken down by a Dallas Cowboys team playing their quarterback. They managed to get going last week with a win over the New York Jets, but it’s nothing out of the ordinary.

The Bengals are still struggling with numerous issues along the offensive line and it’s hard to believe this Cincinnati is able to replicate their heroics last season.

The jury is still out on how good this Dolphins team is, but from what we’ve seen so far this season, they seem more than capable of keeping this in a basket.
