Sapulpa native Andre Brown has his second pro fight at Friday’s Boxing on Black Wall Street boxing show at the Greenwood Cultural Center in downtown Tulsa.

Sapulpa’s Andre Brown headlines Boxing on Black Wall Street | Expected to fight a few pounds over the 147 welterweight limit, the 6-foot-2 Brown faces a much more experienced opponent: David Herrod of Oklahoma City, who in nine professional fights has a record of 7-1-1.

Tickets are available at ticketstorm.com. Doors open at 6 p.m. and fights begin at 7 p.m. Welterweight: Andre Brown (Tulsa, 1-0) vs. David Herrod (7-1-1, Oklahoma City), four rounds.

Greenwood Cultural Center After being a consummate amateur, Brown, 26, is now based in Tulsa, with Ronnie Warrior as his coach, and is seen as an interesting professional prospect. The Boxing on Wall Street show combines five professional fights with four amateur contests.

Lightweights: Thomas Blair (Little Rock, Arkansas) vs. Dakota Morris (Oklahoma City, pro debut), four rounds.
